Iron Man #29 (Vol 2)

Tony experiences a surge of surprise as his sentient armor takes control and eliminates Whiplash in a matter of moments. Desperate to retrieve the villain's body, Tony is stopped by the stubborn Iron Man, who has deactivated Jocasta for a private discussion. Amidst their conversation, Rumiko unexpectedly arrives and Tony worries for her safety. Enraged by the intrusion, Iron Man warns Rumiko of the danger she's in while Tony struggles to contain his anger. Eventually, Tony agrees to join Iron Man in investigating Trevor Donohue's involvement. After returning from the failed mission, Tony notices Iron Man's low power and devises a plan. They travel across the country to Whiplash's funeral, and during the journey, Iron Man gains access to Tony's memories. Upon their return, Iron Man recharges himself while Tony puts on his Modular Armor.
