The iconic heroes, The Spirit and The Rocketeer, created by industry legends Will Eisner and Dave Stevens, finally come together in The Rocketeer and the Spirit: Pulp Friction #1. When a councilman from Central City mysteriously disappears and is later found dead in Los Angeles, Commissioner Dolan, accompanied by Denny Colt (aka The Spirit) and his daughter Ellen, travel to the City of Angels to solve the case. Meanwhile, Cliff Secord (aka The Rocketeer) seeks comfort with his girlfriend Betty.
