Warlock and the Infinity Watch #34

"Power's Pain!" After their return from Count Abyss' dimension, the Watch members have become moody and distant, making Drax feel isolated. While sulking on the beach, he is approached by four monsters from Subterranea. Drax's intense emotions create an empathic bond with them, and he departs the island with his new "team," aiming to be heroes within the limits of their understanding. The Mole Man, wanting his creatures back, orders the rest of the Infinity Watch to retrieve them. Meanwhile, Warlock is momentarily sidetracked by a vision of a spectral figure pleading for aid, causing his companions to doubt his mental state. After the meeting, as Mole Man retreats underground, he is ambushed by his nemesis, Tyrannus.
