Warlock and the Infinity Watch #38

After seeing the Infinity Watch save the innocents he put in danger, Zakaius starts to question his actions and his mission. He confesses to them that he was tasked with collecting life force runes from his victims to give to his lord, Domitian. To retrieve Firelord's life force, they must confront Domitian directly. Zakaius uses his powers to transport the Infinity Watch to Domitian's realm. However, the frail religious leader dismisses Zakaius' pleas. The team battles through Domitian's guard, Kaef, and an army of cyborg slaves. Domitian then uses the life force runes to enlarge himself and joins the battle. Concurrently, the inhabitants of Luarei try to cremate Firelord's body.
